Obituary - Irma Dean Ladd

Irma Dean Ladd, 86, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Abiding Love Baptist Church, Harrisonville.

Irma was born June 12, 1928 in Archie, Missouri, the daughter of William and Ada (Mattingley) Altum. She married William Loyd Ladd on November 12, 1946 in Olathe, Kansas. She was a lifelong Cass County resident. Irma was co-owner and bookkeeper for Grandview Plumbing in Grandview, Missouri until retiring in 1993. She was a member of Abiding Love Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Loyd on February 14, 2007. She is survived by one son, William H. Ladd, Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Martha McNerney and her husband, Jim, Kansas City, Missouri; one nephew, who she raised as a son, Larry Armintrout, Kansas City, Kansas; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
