Good home cookin' (right close to home, too...)

If you've been through Passaic lately, you can't miss this sign. And a drive-by today revealed a parking lot full of cars just around noon as usual.

While the old Jiffy Break building has housed a variety of  businesses over the years, the latest inhabitant might very well be the best (tasting) yet.

The Three Sister's Food Stop appeared in the tan and brown building recently, offering menu items tailored for those that love broasted chicken or a nice juicy slab of ribs. But thats not all- Three Sisters is home to the famous Granny Burger, one of the many novelty hamburgers available in short order.

Other than broasted chicken, ribs and burgers, Three Sisters offers a variety of smoked meats and hand made breaded tenderloins, too. All which can be enjoyed while you take in the classic cowboy decor in the dining area.

And soon you won't see the ghostly Jiffy Break letters in the faded brown paint. Plans in the near future include a new sign and completely new look overall for the outside of the Three Sisters Food Stop.
