Funeral services for Stan Grimsley will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Schowengerdt Chapel. Masonic services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, prior to visitation. Burial in Benjamin Cemetery, Amoret, Missouri. Contributions to Benjamin Cemetery Association or Adrian United Methodist Church.
Stanley Shelton Grimsley, age 75 of Adrian, Missouri died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Adrian Manor in Adrian. He was born July 24, 1937 to Thomas Shelton Jr. and Leone Olive Willsey Grimsley in Butler, Missouri.
Stan is survived by his wife, Beverly Roberta Grimsley of Adrian, Missouri; one son, Tim Shelton Grimsley of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Annette Lynn Dailey and husband Jay of Mayview, Missouri; five grandchildren, Mandi Dailey, Brandon Yount and wife Vanessa, Courtney Yount, Erin Grimsley and Tommy Grimsley; and one great-granddaughter, Haley Ann Yount. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Lee Grimsley.
