Weather Outlook

Another spectacular Spring day in the region! We'll continue to have warm temperatures through the weekend (60s expected), with increasing rain chances on Saturday. In fact, a few thunderstorms may also be possible as early as Saturday morning. The Storms Prediction Center has places portions of southern Kansas and Oklahoma into a "slight risk" for severe weather for Saturday afternoon and evening. Further north, we're not anticipating severe storms, but a few thunderstorms could produce small hail.

Enjoy the warmth because the other side of the coin will appear on Monday as a strong cold front moves through Sunday night. Temperatures will only reach the 30s on Monday with a chance for accumulating snow over the northern half of Kansas and Missouri. Accumulations will be light, but don't be surprised if some spots see an inch or two of snow. Sorry, but this isn't an April fools joke!
