Weather Update: Warm Week Could Spark Strong Storms
Warm and humid conditions will build into the region today, and linger for much of the upcoming week. A few scattered thunderstorms will dissipate after daybreak today, with partly sunny skies for much of the day. A few showers and thunderstorms may redevelop this afternoon, but mainly over central and southern portions of Missouri.
Memorial Day: Thunderstorms may move into the area after midnight and linger into Monday morning. A few of these storms may contain hail and stronger winds. Again, the majority of the daytime hours of Monday will be dry, but thunderstorms will again be possible Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Unsettled weather will return by the end of the week, with several opportunities for thunderstorms, a few of which could be strong to severe Thursday and Friday
