Friday July 26th all lanes of I-49 was closed South of Belton as 3 people were involved in an accident that shut down I-49. The Victims were transported with unknown injuries to a local Hospital , injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The accident occurred when a car northbound crossed the media and rolled over into the southbound lanes. The vehicle was stopped by the cross over cables. Missouri State Highway Patrol will be conducting the investigation.
