We want to give you a heads up to a potentially active weekend with several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms possible. Some of these thunderstorms could develop as early as Saturday morning and last on and off into Sunday night. Most of Saturday afternoon looks to be dry for now, but Saturday night and Sunday could see several rounds of storms - some of which may be severe with tornadoes,... very large hail and damaging winds. Areas at risk include a very large part of the Midwest and Plains including all of eastern Kansas and Missouri.
We urge everyone to keep an eye to the sky this weekend and stay tuned as we gather more details on this potentially widespread and significant severe weather event.
