Hit and Run overnight in Butler

Around 1:30a.m. this morning the Butler Police Department responded to a report of a man that was struck by a vehicle. The location of this accident was at the corner of Pine and Austin Streets. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and after several hours of searching for the driver he wasn't located.

The vehicle that struck the man was located at a residence in the 200 block of S. Delaware Street in Butler and is now in Police Custody. The Butler Police Department would like to question a Butler man Casey Mcbrien about this incident. 

The male that was struck by the vehicle was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries and later released.
