The Annual PTO/Hume School Carnival was held on Friday evening, October 16. Congratulations to Carnival Prince and Princess Tucker Madison and Dalley Steuck and to King and Queen Adriene Harris and Alexis White. The carnival was great and hats off to the PTO, Teachers, Parents and Students for a great evening! On Saturday, October 17 Wilma Swarens, Pam Swarens and Tyler, Adam Swarens & Wyatt, Karen Irwin, Jean Zinn and Diana Morrison joined a host of family and friends to help celebrate the 40th Wedding Anniversary of Bill and Cheryl Gillette in Nevada. Games were played with the Gillette’s choosing their players to play such games as Family Feud, Name that phrase from a song and Minute to win it. Delicious soups, breads and crackers were served along with cake.
On Saturday, October 17 several attended the wedding of Ryan Herda and Kylie Kirchhoff in California, MO. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Herda. The Herda’s reside in Hume.
Don’t forget the Annual Lord’s Acre Day BBQ and Auction on Saturday, November 7 with the free will donation meal to start at 11:00 a.m. with the auction to start at 1:00 p.m. at the Hume United Methodist Church in Hume.
