A 60-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle wreck Sunday morning.Miami County Kansas Sheriff's deputies say Brenda J. Boehm lost control of her motorcycle while braking in an attempt to avoid hitting a vehicle.
She was heading westbound on 391st Street. A second vehicle was turning north on to Lonestar. The vehicles did not make contact with each other.
She was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's currently under investigation by the sheriff's department.
