Burn Ban In Effect For Linn County Kansas

All Outdoor burning activities will be prohibited (banned) on Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, March 27 due to forecast 35 MPH winds with 45 MPH gusts. Prescribed burning conditions appear to be better for Friday and Saturday so the ban may be lifted for those two days. Sunday has forecast wind gusts in excess of 30 MPH so burning will likely be banned on Sunday as well. We will try and provide updated information as soon as it becomes available to assist you with planning your burns.
