Weather Update: Strong Storms Possible Thursday

We are as tired of talking about cold weather as you are of hearing about it. So let's forget about today (highs in the 30s and 40s) and talk about warm weather and severe thunderstorms.

We have warmer weather on the way both Weds and Thurs with highs in the 50s and 60s. This warmer weather will set the stage for some potentially strong thunderstorms on Thursday. Parts of eastern KS and much of MO are under a "slight risk" for severe thunderstorms on Thursday with the potential for large hail and damaging winds. This could be our first bout of severe weather for many areas this year, so stay tuned!
