Blue Mound Kansas Woman Killed In Linn County Kansas Fatality Accident

A Blue Mound, Kansas woman was killed as the result of a one vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon in Linn County, Kansas. 

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 1:45 P.M. Saturday afternoon on 1077 Road, 0.5 mile north of 1000 Road and 3.5 miles south of Centerville, involving a 2007 Ford Escape driven by 64 year old Charlene Conner. 

The Kansas State Highway Patrol says, Conner was northbound on County Road 1077 when she left the road to the west for an unknown reason, crossed a small creek, struck a large tree, before coming to a stop. 

Conner was pronounced dead at the scene. She was transported to Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Kansas.
