St. Clair County Sheriff's Office: Warrant Issued

On Oct. 16, Michiko Henderson, 20, Tulsa, OK, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with two class C felony charges of forgery. The warrant was issued on Jan 3 and stems from  an incident on Nov. 8, 2013 when an attempt was made to cash fraudulent checks at Hawthorn Bank, Osceola. An investigation revealed the females were part of a multi-state fraud investigation. Other agencies, including U.S. Secret Service, Federal Bureau Investigations, Missouri State Highway Patrol Rural Crimes Investigation Unit and Springfield Police Department, took part in the investigation. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
