Funeral services for Duane Diehl will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial, Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions, American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
Duane is survived by his wife, Janice Diehl of Butler, Missouri; four sons, Tevan Diehl and fiance Susan Moroney of Drexel, Missouri, Travis Diehl of Butler, Missouri, Tony Diehl and wife Tiffany of Overland Park, Kansas and Trent Diehl and wife Kristen of Butler, Missouri; his mother, Helen Diehl of Butler, Missouri; three brothers, Dwight Diehl of Belton, Missouri, Darrell Diehl and wife Joyce of Butler, Missouri and Dean Diehl of Butler, Missouri; one sister, Georgia Varns and husband Jack of Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, Leanna, Tanner, Mason and Dietrich; one great-grandson, Brayden; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Tracy in 1979; and one brother, Donald also in 1979.
