Esther (Gutshall) Summers celebrates 100th birthday

Friends and family from throughout the Midwest gathered to celebrate Esther (Gutshall) Summers’ 100th birthday today at the Antique Tractor Park. Esther, who turns 100 on April 25, currently resides in Raymore.

In addition to a potluck dinner with her family and friends, several of her former students arrived later in the day for cake, picture taking and sharing their favorite memories of the guest of honor. Esther is a 1929 graduate of Adrian.
