Snand it now appears snow may fall across much of the region later today and tonight. Here is our current forecast for snowfall through early Friday morning.
It may be difficult for snow to accumulate during the day today across northeast KS and northwest MO, and better chances may be after dark as precipitation moves into western Missouri, close to the I-35 corridor. This area stands the best chance at seeing accumulating snow overnight.
With these snowfall amounts, we are forecasting potential record-breaking snow for Kansas City in May. However, there is still a LOT that could change. It is highly unusual to get snow this late in the season, and if we are just a degree or two off in our forecast temperatures then we will see mostly rain. But for now, accumulating snow appears more likely than not.ow has made it into the northwest corner of Missouri this morning,
