The Ballard community is the best! We've already filled the box with shoes for the Shoeman Water Project! A new bag is in place and ready to go!
Remember, Ballard R-2 will be a shoe drop-off site for the Shoeman Water Projects through the end of the current school year. Funds generated from these shoes will be used to provide well drilling rigs, water purification systems, repairs for hand pum...ps, and health and hygiene training in places like Kenya, Haiti, and South America.
All types of shoes are needed: athletic, running, dress, sandals, pumps, heels, work boots, cleats, dance, flip flops, etc. As long as they do not have holes in them, we'll accept them. Just rubber band or tie each pair together and send or bring them to school.
