Debra L. Hart

Debra L. Hart, 59, Peculiar, Missouri died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home in Peculiar. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday September 26, 2014 at the Raymore Christian Church in Raymore, Missouri with burial in Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House.

Debra was born August 27, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Jerald and Betty (Maelzer) Lathrop. She grew up in south Kansas City and was a 1973 graduate of Ruskin High School in Kansas City.

Debra was united in marriage to Jeffrey L. Hart on September 25, 1982 in Kansas City. She had lived in Kansas City before moving to Peculiar. Debra had worked as a purchasing agent for Baptist Medical Center and Associated Medical Equipment in Kansas City and the Peculiar Country Mart. She was a member of the Raymore Christian Church and was a former member of the Wills Cemetery, Cemetery Board.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother and a son, Jeff D. Hart. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hart, of the home; a daughter, Jennifer Fulk, and husband, Dan Fulk, Raymore; her father, Jerald Lathrop, Raymore; a brother, Ken Lathrop, Gladstone, Missouri; a sister, Martha Lathrop, Raymore; and three grandchildren, Abby Fulk, J.D. Fulk, and Drew Fulk.
