Memorial Services for Donna Robinson will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 26, 2014 at Mullinax Funeral Home (660-679-0009) in Butler, Missouri with Greg D. Mullinax officiating. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Nevada Regional Medical Center Hospice, or to the Community Food Pantry in Butler, Missouri. Donna Lee (Anderson) Robinson, 74 of Butler, Missouri passed away peacefully September 19, 2014 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born March 9, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of Paul Laurence Joseph and Wana Bly (Morton) Anderson.
Her family moved to Butler, Missouri June 2, 1950. Donna married Guy Robinson out of high school on May 17, 1958. To this union 3 children were born: Diane, Dana and Debra.
She was a homemaker and book keeper for the family business for 56 years. She loved to refinish furniture, garden, dance, spend time with her family and in her later years play bingo. She will always be remembered as a witty and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She never met a stranger and had a contagious laugh.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Guy Robinson of Butler, daughter Diane Robinson and son Dana Robinson, both of Butler; and daughter Debra Davis of Wickenburg, Arizona. She also leaves behind grandchildren Jeremy Oates of St. Louis, Missouri; Caleb Oates of Butler; Brooke Thompson of Osage Beach, Missouri; Spencer Davis and Dexter Davis of Wickenburg, Arizona; great-grandchildren Romey, Jonathon and Letha Thompson of Osage Beach, Kale and Huntley Oates of Butler, and Silas Davis of Wickenburg Arizona; as well as one sister Joyce Botkin of Butler, Missouri.
