Peggy Eldora (Mullen) Pilcher, 78, Milo, MO passed away on Tuesday, December 08, 2015 in Fulton, MO following an illness of several months. Peggy was born August 20, 1937 in Butler, MO to Joseph Warden and Dorothy Alma (Bearce) Wix. She was united in marriage to Richard L. Mullen on January 1, 1968 and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2002. She later married Daniel B. Pilcher on May 14, 2005 and he survives of the home.
Peggy was raised in Butler and in Round Prairie near Appleton City, MO. She graduated from Appleton City High School Class of 1955. Following high school Peggy attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar for a time then began employment at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City working there for 5 years. At that time she came to Nevada and worked at C.A. White Motors for 1 year prior to working with her husband Dick at the Mullen Body Shop in Nevada which they owned and operated. Peggy was a longtime member of the Milo Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband Danny survivors include her children Judy Rae Virgil, KS, Tana LaRae Trost, CA, Steven Michael Jones, AL, Richard Lloyd Mullen, Milo, and Robin LoVe Mischnick, Fulton, MO; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Gerken, Clinton, MO; and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard, her parents, and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Friends may call from now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
