Funeral services for Edith White will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 5 from 10-11 a.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Butler Public Library.

Edith Lucene White, age 95 of Butler, Missouri died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Breezy Meadows in Butler. She was born June 19, 1920 to Roy Castle and Stella Ritchey Baker in Butler.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Margaret Alexander and husband Jim of Russellville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Pat Stevens and husband Terry, Rejena Hairston and husband Eddie, David Alexander, Joel Alexander, Kimberly Russell and husband Robert and Patrick White and wife Jenessa; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ernest; and one son, Kenneth.
