Robert Ray Hoskins |
Bob attended school in Richards graduating with the Class of 1955 in an all boy class of four. After graduation he served our country in the United States Army. He then returned to Missouri after Honorable Discharge in New York. Through his life Bob farmed with his father and owned his own radiator shop in Nevada for a short time. For over thirty years he worked as a machinist for W.F. Norman retiring in 2014. When time allowed Bob enjoyed camping, deer hunting, fishing for spoonbill, and NASCAR. He was a very handy craftsman, able to build home additions, shelves, and frames when needed. But most of all he enjoyed his family and spending time with them – especially spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the loves of his life. Of special mention are his grandson Anthony's buddies - - - they were family to him.
Survivors include his son Ray Hoskins and wife Kathy of Nevada; sister, Wilma Burdick of Nevada; grandchildren, Anthony Hoskins and wife Lacie; Christina Hoskins, and Robert Hoskins; and great grandchildren, Eliza and Julyan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Clarence Hoskins, Jr. and Neoma Jean Allen.
