Electrical Fire At Nevada Walmart

Business returned to normal Saturday evening and Sunday at the Wal-Mart SuperCenter, 2250 E. Lincoln Avenue in Nevada after an electrical fire early Saturday morning. Nevada fire chief Bill Thornton says the fire involved a transformer in the electrical room at the back of the store and a Wal-Mart employee used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames about 3:30 a.m. Seven Nevada firemen responded and spent about forty-five minutes at the store. He adds the fire affected the store's computers and the store was closed several hours until the proper repairs were completed.
