MISSOURI CAPITOL HOLIDAY INVITATION

Representative Randy Pike extends an invitation to the citizens of Vernon and Bates County to participate in Jefferson City, MO Holiday Activities December 6th and 7th. Representative Pike will be hosting a reception at his Capitol Office, Room 400 CB from 1 – 2pm on Saturday, December 7th prior to the Candlelight Tour of the Governor’s Mansion.

Living Windows

Time: 6-9pmLocation: Downtown Jefferson CityDescription: Living Windows takes place in downtown Jefferson City. Storefronts and windows come alive with dancers, singers, religious and holiday themes. Hayrides wind their way through the streets and Santa Claus makes his yearly visit to Hawthorn Bank.

Candlelight Tours
December 6-7 – Missouri Governor’s Mansion
Time: 6:30-9pm Friday December 6th and 2-4pm Saturday December 7th
Location: Missouri Governor’s MansionDescription: Governor’s Mansion is beautifully decorated. During the tours, visitors will have the opportunity to view decorations in several rooms of the historic brick building, which has been the home of Missouri Governors since 1871.  Prior to the tours on Friday, Gov. and Mrs. Nixon will welcome visitors to the Mansion grounds for the lighting of the Mansion and an outdoor Christmas tree; music for that program will begin at 6 pm.Contact Information: (573) 751-0526Cost: Free
