Obituary - Arthur "Art" Erwin Sage

Arthur “Art” Erwin Sage, 89, of Adrian, Missouri died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his home. Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Fairview Baptist Church in Ballard, Missouri with burial in Cloud Cemetery, Ballard. Visitation 6:30-8:00 Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Kamp Keirsey or Heartland Hospice. 

Art was born November 7, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to George Verdier and Susan Amanda (Browning) Sage. He was married to Rolla (Dille) Sage. Art worked in construction and was a U.S. Navy veteran. 

Art was preceded in death by parents, one daughter and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Rolla of the home; two sons, Glenn Sage of Adrian, MO and Harold Sage and his wife, Ruth, of Appleton City, MO; three daughters, Beth Argabright and her husband, Alan, of Archie, MO, Edith Arnold and her husband, Chester, of Dayton, MO and Rachel Gregory and her husband, Nathan, of Adrian, MO; two brothers, John Hallett Sage and his wife, Wylene, of Louisville, KY and David Sage and his wife, Pat, of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Margaret Logan of Rockford, IL; 16 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
