Funeral services for Dwight L. Sage of Butler, Missouri will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Dr. Terry Davis officiating. Visitation Noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 18 prior to services. Burial, Sharon Cemetery, Drexel, Missouri. Contributions, Butler First Baptist Church.

Dwight Leishman Sage, age 78 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Willow Lane Nursing Center in Butler. He was born February 15, 1933 to George Verdier and Susan Amanda Browning Sage in Ballard, Missouri.


Dwight is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Sage of Butler, Missouri; one daughter, Charlene Sage of Butler, Missouri; a sister, Margaret Logan of Rockford, Illinois; three brothers, Arthur Erwin Sage and wife Rolla Joline of Adrian, Missouri, John H. Sage and wife Wylene of Louisville, Kentucky and David Sage and wife Patricia of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lawrence and Lloyd H. Sage.
