Prospect; attempt to locate in the 800 block of S. Birch; possible theft in the 1100 block of W. 52; fireworks call in the 300 block of S. Delaware; two warrant arrests at the Filling Station.
July 6 - At approx. 1230 hours two Butler Police Officers were involved in a pursuit the resulted from a leave without pay from Conoco. The vehicle traveled south on Rice Road just past Nursery. The pursuit ended on S. Rice Road with the suspect coming to a stop in a ditch after the driver lost control from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.

July 7 - Vandalism call at the Typhoon Car Wash; suspicious person on the square; alarm call in the 600 block of W. Nursery; theft call in the 100 block of S. Lyons; suspicious person at city lake; road blockage at Business 71 and Nursery; disturbance in the 700 block of Country Club; medical assist in the 500 block of W. Ohio.
July 8 - Walk in report taken; medical assist in the 500 block of W. Ohio; animal complaint on Wix Lane; walk in report of assault taken; walk in theft report taken.
July 9 - Walk in report taken at PD; medical assist in the 400 block of S. Delaware; alarm at grade school; door to door salesman complaint; trespassing at Walmart; suspicious suspect in the 500 block of W. Fort Scott.
July 10 - Disturbance on the square; fight call at Alley Bar; assault call at Days Inn; report taken at hospital; walk in assault report taken; possible harassment in the 300 block of W. Chestnut.
