Adrian man not seriously injured in car vs train accident

At 2:23 p.m. this afternoon a southbound Missouri Northern Arkansas freight train met with a westbound 2003 Dodge driven by Austin C. Potter, 18, of Adrian at a railroad crossing just north of Passaic on county road 8002.

Upon arrival, first responders found Potter out of the vehicle with only minor injuries. He was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for observation.

north of Passaic. Fortunately, the driver 18 year old Austin Potter of Adrian escaped with only minor injuries.
