Cathy E. Burnside, 39, of Butler sustained moderate injuries in a single car accident on Monday in Henry county on CR 600, just east of Route HH.
According to the MSHP report filed yesterday, Burnside was driving a 2003 Chrysler at a high rate of speed on the county road when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver.
A passenger, Jayden L. Burnside, 12, also received moderate injuries in the accident.
Both were transported by air ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. The report indicates that Jayden Burnside was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident; Cathy Burnside was not.
