Diesel dives while gas prices rise...

Those who drive diesel powered vehicles are pleased but we gas-aholics are seeing the numbers go back up. While Bates County enjoys slightly lower prices than some our neighbors, we did see that Kansas City stations were selling go juice for $3.49 for gasoline and $3.43 for diesel yesterday afternoon.

On the local front, the Drexel Casey's boasted unleaded for $3.32 and diesel for a few pennies more at $3.39 this morning.

Online sources are saying it's just a 'supply and demand' thing and both types of fuels are expected to go back up in the near future.

To the diesel folks we say enjoy it while you can!
