Admission Tickets Now Available for the August Missouri State Fair

(SEDALIA, Mo.) – Daily adult gate admission tickets to the Missouri State Fair may be purchased in advance at select retail stores across the state, now through Aug. 8. State Fair Director Mark Wolfe said the $2 savings per ticket, and several other special promotions, helps to make the annual agricultural showcase an affordable family destination.

The $6 tickets are available at all Missouri Break Time convenience stores, Orscheln Farm and Home and Casey’s General Store locations. A list of the locations is available online at www.mostatefair.com. The discounted admission tickets are also available through Aug. 8 at the State Fair Box Office in Sedalia; hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Another great discount is the unlimited ride carnival wristband ticket for $18.95, offered exclusively at Walgreens through Aug. 8. Walgreens and Break Time convenience stores are also selling a $27 unlimited daily deal ticket through Aug. 18, which includes a single-day adult gate admission and a single-day unlimited carnival ride wristband.

“The $27 ticket offers a savings of $6,” Wolfe said. “An unlimited carnival ride wristband purchased on the Midway during the State Fair is $25 and regular adult gate admission is $8.”
