Lady Bears dominate Leeton 15-6

The Lady Bears softball team picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night by beating Leeton 15-6. The girls played well both offensively and defensively. On defense, Bree Platt and McKenna Treece combined for two double plays. Offensively, Beth Coleman was 5 for 5 with three singles, a double, and a triple. McKenna Treece was 3 for 5 with a double. Bree Platt was 2 for 4 with a double, and Sage Hutton was 1 for 3 with a double. Kylee Johnson was 1 for 2 and laid down 2 amazing sacrifice bunts. Other hitters were Danika Ford (2 for 3), Abby McGrew (3 for 4), and Chelsea Spencer (2 for 4).
