Bates County Sheriffs Department along with Butler Police Department hosted a distracted driving course with the sophomore class at Butler R-V High School today. The students were tested on numerous distractions while operating a motor vehicle. They were also had a simulation of being drunk by wearing special goggles and also performed field sobriety testing.
