HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES


 BUTLER
The Butler Halloween Parade is scheduled for Thursday evening October 31st.
The event is sponsored by the Butler Chamber of Commerce.
Pre-registration will be at 5 pm at the gazebo on the
Butler Courthouse Lawn, with judging at 5:30.
There will be several categories;
  • 0-5 years old
  • 6-11 years old
  • 12-17 years old and 18 and over.
There will be additional parade costume judging to include pets, groups, and props. The Grand Prize will be awarded to the scariest costume.
Anyone is welcome to set up for trunk or treat. The set up will begin on the south side of the Butler Square. 

Those interested may open the trunks of their cars to allow local children to select candy from those participating. 


10/31- The Ohio Street United Methodist Church will host a Trunk or Treat at the Church parking lot from 6:30 to 7:30 October 31st in addition to the Butler Boo Parade and the Butler Square Trunk or Treat
10/31 Trunk or Treat at the Church of Nazarene on the corners of Nursery and S. Delaware Streets from 6:30 pm until the candy runs out.

ADRIAN:
10/31   Adrian Lions Club Sight and Safety Night.
Pumpkin contest Adrian merchants and clubs will pass out candy. 5 to 7 pm.
will be accepting used glasses and chargeable phones with chargers.

  


DREXEL:
10/31 ANNUAL FUN AND SAFETY NIGHT COSTUME PARADE STARTS AT 5PM. CHILDREN MEET AT 4TH AND MAIN IN DREXEL.



BATES COUNTY ELKS HAUNTED HOUSE -
ABOVE ELDORADO RESTAURANT SOUTH EAST CORNER OF SQUARE OPENS OCTOBER 11TH AND 12TH               OCTOBER 25TH AND 26TH
              THURSDAY EVENING OCTOBER 31ST
              $5.00 PER PERSON OPENS AT 7 PM TIL ?  

APPLETON CITY: Halloween in the Park Costume Competition” sponsored by the GFWC-Jr. Achievers, will be 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. October 31 at the City Park. There will be categories for boys and girls of ALL ages. Costume Judging is at 5:30. There will also be free hotdogs. 
 

MONTROSE
 “A Bunch of Bored Guys” present their 9th annual haunted house, October 25th and 26th and November 1st and 2nd at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Montrose. For only $5.00, you can go through the haunted house, eat a hot dog, chips, and a drink. All proceeds will go to the Knights of Columbus.


PAOLA KANSAS
 
HALLOWEEN PARTY AND PARADE THURSDAY OCTOBER 31ST ON THE PAOLA SQUARE
BOUNCE HOUSES, JUGGLERS, OBSTACLE COURSE, GAMES, HOT DOGS FACE PAINTING
LINE UP ON PEORIA STREET BETWEEN PEARL AND AGATE AT 5:30
