3 Teens Hurt In Vernon County Crash

Three Vernon County teens were taken to separate hospitals after a one-vehicle crash late Friday night 1 mile West Nevada on Minie Ball Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened about 10:45 p.m.when an 1999 East-bound Chevy truck, driven by 17-year-old Trevor Taylor, Nevada, ran off the right side of the road at high speeds and overturned. 



The MSHP trooper's report says three passengers 14-year-old Dylon Heiserman, Milo,Missouri and 11-year-old Bradly Woods and 14-year-old Bradyn Woods, both of Nevada, Missouri suffered serious injuries. Mr.Heiserman was taken to Nevada Regional Medical Center while the other two were flown to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Taylor was not hurt.
