Job Opening in Butler

Butler Music is looking for an aggressive, motivated individual to help manage daily store operations, and also to maintain and grow a separate sales outlet as ...a part of our new 2014 strategy. This position will have a base salary with great potential for bonuses based on quarterly performance.

Butler Music is a well-established, internet-based musical instrument store that has been in business since 1987.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Maintain and update product listings on a separate eBay ID. This will include coordinating with vendors to make sure items that are in stock are active and items that are freshly out of stock will be deactivated.
-Handle inbound customer emails and phone calls.
This includes returns, product trouble-shooting, coordinating returns with vendors, answering product questions, and much more.
-Update social networking sites with daily content.
Making sure that we provide fresh content at least every other day to sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and any other social media sites.
-Daily data entry. Invoicing customers, processing credit card payments, entering daily sales totals.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
-The ability to solve problems and situations where there may not be a pre-set standard.
-High school diploma.
-Effective oral and written communication skills.
-A friendly, customer service oriented attitude.
-Basic inventory management and merchandising practices.
-Some knowledge of Quickbooks Premiere.
-The ability to maintain a sales and profit oriented goal.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:
-Basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages.
-The ability to run a computer and a basic understanding of software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
-A basic understanding of social media, and how to use it as a tool for growing the Butler Music brand and reaching new customers.
-Stringed instrument knowledge. Primarily guitars.
-Impeccable multi-tasking skills.
-Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
