Large Grass Fire On Stateline Road

Several area Fire Departments a battling a large grass fire that is raging Southwest of Amoret on State Line Road just South of the Marais Des Cygnes River bridge on the Missouri side of the state line. Unknown at this time the cause of the fire or how many acres have been lost. Bates County Live will update this when more information becomes available.
