Memorial services for Stan Fjoser Jr. will be 7 pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler; visitation will be immediately prior to services at the chapel from 5 pm to 7 pm. Contributions may be left at the chapel for the Bethel Cemetery.
Stanley Milo "Butch" Fjoser Jr. was born Sept. 22, 1947 in Minnesota the son of Stanley Milo and Marcella Fjoser Sr. As a young boy his family moved to North Kansas City where he graduated from High School. Stan served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On June 27, 1987 he married Kathy Umstattd. Living at Lake Lotawana, Kansas City and last near Peculiar, MO. He worked for the GSA retiring in 2001 and began working as a salesman for State Industrial selling cleaning products. He retired again in 2009.
Stan is survived by his wife Kathy D. Fjoser, step-daughter Lesley Zerr and husband Nick of Fenton, MO; mother-in-law Marjorie Umstattd of Ballard, MO; two brothers Norman Fjoser of Kansas City, MO and Larry Fjoser of Jackson, MS; two sisters Janice Boyd of Kansas City, KS and Cheryl Fjoser of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren; Tate, Grant Connor and Blane as well as nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Clint Daniel, father-in-law Donald "Swede" Umstattd, and brother-in-law Joe D. Boyd.
