From The Bates County Sheriff's Office

The Bates County Sheriff's Office has several thousand dollars that needs to be released to past inmates. If you were an inmate at the Bates County Jail (between 7/1/13 and now) and had commissary money please contact Jami at 660-679-3232. You have to call and request it to be released to you. We can mail it to you or you can pick it up at the office. If the money has not been claimed by June 30, 2014 it will be turned over to the Missouri State Treasurer as unclaimed property.
