St.Clair County Sheriffs Office: Osceola man arrested on warrants

Jerry Eaton
On June 22, Jerry Eaton, 42, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County deputies on a no bond St. Clair County felony warrant for commitment. In April, Eaton pled guilty to two misdemeanor charges, resisting/interfering with arrest, detention or stop and driving while revoked/suspended-second or subsequent offense. He was sentenced to serve ten days in the St. Clair County Jail beginning May 9. Eaton failed to appear to serve the sentence.

The charges stem from an incident in August 2013 when a St. Clair County deputy attempted to pull over a motorcycle Eaton was driving following a domestic disturbance. Eaton looked back and attempted to flee from the deputy.

Eaton was also arrested on a Henry County warrant for a class D felony charge of operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license-third and subsequent offense. The charge stems from an incident in February. Bond in that case is set at $4,500 cash or surety. Eaton was given a court date of Aug. 1 in St. Clair County and July 18 in Henry County.
