Harold David Eastwood was born March 1, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Arthur and Doreta (McAddams) Eastwood. He grew up in the Fontana, Kansas area briefly but spent most of his early years in Kansas City, Kansas.
Harold held many occupations throughout his life, including at a gas station, Faultless Starch, and a battery company, but is best known for founding Eastwood Appliance. The company originated in Kansas City, Kansas but currently is in Pleasanton, Kansas. Harold was gifted when it came to appliance repair and he imparted this knowledge on to his children. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, and was a former member of the Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy Kay (Nyhart) Eastwood; and one brother, Charles “Bud” Eastwood. He is survived by his children: Davida Asher, David Lee Eastwood, Aaron Dean Eastwood, Jeffrey Allen Eastwood, Glenn William Eastwood, Sean Kelly Eastwood, Ronald Clint Eastwood; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
