09/29/2016 Cass Co. - The victim of a fatal house fire in rural Peculiar on Monday has been identified as Charles Scott Ensor, 57. Mr. Ensor who lived at the residence, was the only occupant in the house at the time of the fire. The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office made the positive identification today.
An official cause of death will take several weeks to determine. The Missouri State Fire Marshall’s Office is also investigating the fire. A cause has not been determined.
