Funeral services for Doug Carver will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Salem Cemetery, Foster, Missouri. Contributions to Butler First Christian Church, American Heart Association or House of Hound.
Douglas Harold Carver, age 86 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born January 6, 1930 to Everett and Josephine Shelton Carver in Butler.
Doug is survived by his wife, Nora Carver of Butler, Missouri; five daughters, Debra Peterson and husband Gary of Salt Lake City, Utah, Beverly Foulger and husband Stephen of Ogden, Utah, Janet Kinghorn and husband Ken and Diana Bosley, all of Clearfield, Utah and Vickie Gale and husband Randy of Mayfield, Utah; one brother, Donald Carver of Greenville, Kentucky; and 18 granchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way, one great great-granddaughter and one great great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Everett Carver Jr. and Joe Lee Carver.
