Harvey Lee Chastain, 79, Mack's Creek, Missouri departed this life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri surrounded by family and love.

He is survived by a son, Harvey Luke Chastain and wife Rebecca, Mack's Creek, Missouri; 4 daughters, Lucinda Lea Chastain, Flemington, Missouri, Mary Johnston and husband Ray, Buffalo, Missouri, Gretchen Lee and husband Shannon, Danielle Marie Schooler and husband Steve all of the State of Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren with 4 on the way; 6 brothers, Phillip Chastain, State of Kansas, Bob Chastain, Harrisonville, Missouri, Jim Chastain, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tim Chastain, State of Kansas, Elijah Chastain, Belton, Missouri; a sister, Wanda Gonzales, Garden City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
