Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Clinton

A Clinton Police Officer Scott Brandt made a traffic stop for expired license plates on the evening of June 27th that led to the discovery of a sizable quantity of drugs. 

K9 Officer John Scott and his partner, Belgian Malinois Jhon, arrived on the scene to assist. K9 Jhon alerted officers to the presence of the drugs and they were consequently discovered by the officers. 

Officers arrested 37 year old Summer Hope Vanblaricon of Clinton for Possession of a Controlled Substances believed to be marijuana and methamphetamine.
