Chuck Wallace Fundraising Event

H.E.R.T.T. currently assisted by Integrity Defense, LLC is proud to announce the “Charlie’s Battle 6.6K @ 66 Acre park” to benefit one of our own in the fight against Esophageal Cancer.

We will be hosting the event on November 9th, 2013 with race start times starting at 8AM. The cost of the race will be $35.00 to Run or Walk and the signs ups for the race starting on September 18th, 2013. The race shirts will be provided by TEESPRING.COM, who will be contributing all proceeds to the “Charlie’s Battle” for the family’s needs which is an additional cost to the Participation cost.  Currently we are planning the event with the cooperation with The City of Peculiar, Parks and Recreation, The City of Peculiar, Parks and Recreation Board, and numerous Sponsors to include local Law Enforcement and Public Safety agencies, Volunteers, and friends ready to help fight cancer and assist the cause.

Integrity Defense, LLC will be hosting the event with H.E.R.T.T. (Heartland Emergency Response Training Team) with vendors and other volunteer groups to raise additional monetary assistance for the family. There will be food, music, local vendors, and community oriented services on the property known as the “66 Acre Park” for everyone to get more acquainted with Public Safety and Local members of the Military.

“Charlie’s Battle” is the self-named battle for our very own local Police Officer, Officer Charles “Chuck” Wallace who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal and Stomach Cancer.

Officer Wallace has been a Police officer with the City of Peculiar for two years and has been extremely passionate in protecting the citizens of the City of Peculiar and the integrity of the enforcement of city and state laws. Officer Wallace is a Public Servant, Father, Husband, and a Friend who is in need of our help.

H.E.R.T.T. is currently putting things in place to help Officer Wallace and his family as they get through this time of need as he fights a battle that is not with his hands, but with his heart and perseverance.
