On Saturday, Sept. 21, Rodney Sheldon, 34, Osceola, was arrested for felony domestic assault and two misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and possessing marijuana. The charges stemmed from an incident at 320 Warsaw Street, Osceola. Deputies were dispatched to the residence and made contact with a 31-year-old female asking for help. The female stated Sheldon was attempting to kill her. The investigation led to Sheldon’s arrest and the female was transported in an ambulance to seek medical treatment. During his arrest, Sheldon attempted to resist the deputies. An arrest warrant was obtained the same day charging Sheldon with a class C felony of second degree domestic assault. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
