On Tuesday, Sept. 17, Steven Patrick, 56, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a class C felony warrant for abuse or neglect of a child. The charge stems from an incident at home in the southwest portion of St. Clair County on Aug. 9 when Patrick assaulted a 14-year-old juvenile by punching the individual in the eye. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. He was arraigned on the charge on Sept. 18 and further court proceedings are set for Oct. 2.
