On Friday, Sept. 20, Billy Wood III, 24, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class B felony of distributing a controlled substance and a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. The charges stem from an investigation on Sept. 18 at 365 Pine Street apartment C, Osceola. The investigation revealed methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and other items related to sales of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $25,000 cash only. He was arraigned on the charge the same day and further court proceedings are set for Oct. 2.
